As the founder, owner, and head bookkeeper, Alicia brings to the table over 10 years of experience performing many levels of accounting functions, in many different industries. Having very detail oriented skills allowed her to have quicker entry and resolution of all transactions she worked on. Being able to take the information she learned and pass it onto her coworkers & superiors gave her a passion for sharing that knowledge with anyone that needs it. Over the years, her experience allowed her to retrieve millions of unpaid sales, without the losses and frustration associated with writing them off or sending them to collection agencies. Continuing on in the family is Adam, who has worked and learned beside Alicia for the last few years. Adam is very intelligent, picking up on bookkeeping as if it was second nature. Adam became QuickBooks Certified and is currently working full time in a position in the Accounts Payable field for a business here in Rochester, NY.

Growing up in Rochester has given me the love & understanding for this city and the people in it. I was determined to do something that would allow me to stay here. To get into the finance field, I worked 40+ hours/week, while attending college full time & raising two toddlers on my own.. I obtained my Associate's degree and after working years in finance departments of many different corporations, I realized how much I was missing the strength and bond of small businesses. With the love & support of my family, I became QuickBooks certified & set out to open Ace Bookkeeping & Collections!! 

Today, I'm married to the same amazing motivated man I've been with for over 10 years, a mother to two amazing adults and an energetic labradoodle named Aragon. My vision is to balance my home life while helping other small businesses grow.

Fun Fact: I like to work with my mason brother as a laborer, building basements for new homes.
